Goliath culture is broader: it includes weather knowledge, oral history, route-finding, negotiation over scarce resources, practical medicine, climbing craft, and a detailed understanding of how people behave when survival depends on cooperation.

Firbolgs are uncommon forest people associated with the Wyrdwood borders, deep woodland communities, old paths, and regions where settlement must negotiate with living systems rather than simply clear them away. They use the published 5e Firbolg rules in D&D Beyond.
Firbolg communities tend to value stewardship, restraint, practical kindness, privacy, and understanding what a place needs before deciding how to change it. They are not all hermits or druids, but city life often feels unnecessarily loud, hurried, and eager to name things that were doing fine without paperwork.
