Sorcerer
Sorcerer
Sorcerers are innate casters figuring things out as they go. They may be called Aether-sensitive, moon-touched, shard-marked, blessed, cursed, unstable, inspired, or dangerous depending on who is speaking.

Adventure Guide note
Innate power, living anomaly, moon-touched, shard-marked, blessed, or cursed.
How Aeloria understands this class
Aelorian institutions are uncomfortable with sorcerers because their power does not always arrive through sanctioned training. To some professors, a sorcerer is a miracle of natural resonance. To others, they are a walking safety violation.
Practice and power
Player-facing traditions describe sorcerers as people whose bodies, bloodlines, minds, scars, or souls are unusually receptive to power. Their magic can be flexible, instinctive, dramatic, and difficult to standardize.
At the Grand Scholarium
At the Scholarium, sorcerers are intensely studied, courted, feared, or overregulated. Some find mentors who help them control their gifts; others learn quickly that being interesting to a university is not always safe.
