Bard
Bard
Bards are rare intuitive harmonic casters. In a world obsessed with diagrams, lenses, and measured procedure, bards are the infuriating people who can make magic move with a chord, a phrase, a story, or the right silence at the right moment.

Adventure Guide note
Song, rhythm, breath, story, emotion, and harmonic intuition.
How Aeloria understands this class
Scholars do not fully agree on what bards are doing. Some call them acoustic specialists. Some call them artists. Some call them walking violations of proper procedure. Traveling scholars and performers often treat bardic magic as proof that the world is more musical, emotional, and responsive than the academies admit.
Practice and power
Bards feel natural harmonics of the world and bend effects through emotion, song, rhythm, breath, dance, poetry, performance, and story. Not everyone can become a bard by learning an instrument; there is an intuitive sensitivity involved that remains poorly understood.
At the Grand Scholarium
At the Grand Scholarium, bards unsettle formal scholars because they often achieve with resonance what a wizard would need chalk, lenses, notation, and assistants to reproduce. Their social gifts also make them diplomats, rumor-brokers, historians, and dangerous witnesses.
