Artificer

In Aeloria, artificers are some of the most recognizable magical specialists. They are technicians, inventors, patent rivals, field engineers, Measure Yard students, and the sort of people who will improve a spell by bolting it into a pressure-tested brass housing.

How Aeloria understands this class

Most Auralian citizens understand artificers as practical arcanists: people who turn dangerous theory into devices that can be held, repaired, demonstrated, sold, or accidentally detonated. Their work is respected, useful, and often watched very closely by the Arcane Accords.

Practice and power

Artificers work through tools, devices, frames, foci, Starshard housings, regulators, lenses, pressure valves, and repeated experiments. They are less concerned with mystical purity than with whether the invention survives its first field test.

At the Grand Scholarium

At the Grand Scholarium, artificers thrive in workshops, foundries, patent offices, and the Measure Yards. They often stand between Sparkers who want elegant theory and Greasers who want machinery that functions after being dropped into mud.
