Aasimar
Aasimar are rare but recognized throughout Aeloria. Most communities understand them through the language they already possess: divine favor, moon-signs, Aetheric resonance, ancestral blessing, or dangerous omen. The Church of the Triune Orbit may regard an aasimar as touched by Selene, Ridior, or the celestial order, while Scholarium physicians prefer terms such as “stable luminous resonance.”
No single aasimar culture exists. An aasimar may be born to an otherwise ordinary family anywhere in Aeloria. Their appearance and abilities attract interpretation long before the individual is old enough to decide what those signs mean.
Aasimar at the Grand Scholarium
The Scholarium is one of the few institutions capable of offering an aasimar serious study without requiring them to accept a purely religious explanation. Aasimar students are common subjects of interest in Aether Dynamics, Celestial Cartography, Ethical Containment, magical medicine, and theology.
Aasimar characters fit especially well as celestial scholars, healers, reluctant symbols, resonance researchers, or students trying to define themselves before a church or professor does it for them.

Tieflings
Tieflings appear throughout Aeloria as individuals and family lines marked by infernal ancestry, old bargains, planar influence, or unusual Aetheric resonance. Auralian scholars argue endlessly over which explanation applies to a given tiefling, often without asking the person involved.
Tieflings are not a single culture. Their upbringing is shaped by family, region, faith, and class just like anyone else’s. Visible traits may provoke superstition, curiosity, suspicion, or fashionable fascination depending on the district.
Tieflings at the Grand Scholarium
Tiefling students are drawn to Arcane Law, Aether Dynamics, planar studies, Ethical Containment, theology, and any field where understanding the terms of power matters. Magister Vex’s prominence demonstrates that a tiefling can hold considerable authority in Auralian institutions.
